Your Interview is rescheduled
Congratulations, your profile is shortlisted and you would be meeting our CXX
WOW, but now the actual thing starts, CXX is available only on two slots in the week and you have your office meeting lined up or a sudden review call and the rescheduling game starts. We have seen with some of the big organizations, the interview process extends to 3-4 months for a role.
Interview management is a big problem for recruiters, as multiple cross communications have to happen, and if a candidate secures another job and backs out in between, it’s back to square on
Valuing each other’s time and being available for an interview at the right time across the hiring process involving 3,4 rounds showcase a lot and that’s where hiring managers need to be highly proactive and not just follow the process, as a hiring manager if you really like a candidate make sure you make extra efforts to talk to the candidate.
At the same time candidates no shows put a lot of pressure on recruiters as they have to take all the blame, so even if you are halfhearted for any company/role, choose a slot where you don’t have to skip important things and take some time before accepting an interview invite.
Recruiters on the other hand need to have better connections with the candidates, so even if a candidate has some other thoughts about the job, he/she has confidence in communicating the same rather than absconding, and also making sure that you pre-inform and remind hiring managers on the interview and capture candidate story well to draw attention from hiring managers.
So all in all for a fast result-driven interview process, everyone has to be more agile and recruiters need

to set the right expectations and communicate well.
